About In Bloom
My interest in horticulture, flowers, and crafts began at a young age. I grew up on an expansive property with lots of vegetable and flower gardens where my mother was constantly doing arts and crafts projects with me and my sisters that inspired a love for nature and the need to be creative.
After receiving my BS in Business Administration from SUNY Geneseo, I went on to attend floral design schools in Phoenix, Arizona and Rochester, New York. After working at several flower shops and teaching design classes at the Rochester Institute of Floral Design, I realized there was niche for a more creative and personal floral design service. In Bloom was born.
